This summer my friends and I spent a week in Corfu, Greece. Towards the end of the school year, I started to feel exhausted. Everyone started talking about where they were flying to this summer, and I started feeling like I needed a beach too. So I spoke to my friends and we agreed on finding somewhere cheap and really hot. We settled on Corfu in Greece, which is a really beautiful island. We found a great deal for £350 for a week, our hotel was on the beach and close to lots of restaurants and bars. It was a great find.
We took £300 spending money and it stretched very far. We were able to party – drinks were very cheap, eat some authentic Greek food, swim in a lovely pool and in the crystal clear Ionian Sea – we could see our toes through the water! Our hotel was near a port, so we were able to go on two cruises to see different parts of the island, and we're given an opportunity to swim in the middle of the Blue Lagoon and inside caves. We tried a couple of the water sports and had fun at the third largest water park in Europe. Amazeballs!!!!
